4C Strategies have been selected to support MASS in the delivery of the UK’s new Joint Command and Staff Training contract. 4C Strategies will provide our Training and Exercise Management System, Exonaut®, specifically adapted as an operational level Exercise Planning & Management Tool (EPMT). The Exonaut EMPT will provide a customised exercise planning, design, execution and lessons management capability in support of combined and joint operational level training as well as political-military strategic-level crisis management training led by the MoD.
4C Strategies have supported the MoD’s training since 2009, principally in the Land Environment, but also in support of the UK’s Exercise Joint Warrior and HQ ARRC. Exonaut is a proven, end-to-end and objective based Training and Exercise Management System in use within NATO, the US, Canada, Australia, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Switzerland and the UAE. Exonaut is highly adaptable, configurable and supports training at the individual, platform, unit, collective and joint levels as an installed or distributed system.
Through the new contract, 4C will support MASS developing and implementing exercises for Strategic Command, based at Northwood, not only for UK military personnel but also including events involving a range of other governmental and non-governmental organisations as well as participation by military staffs from coalition partner nations. The contract includes both the provision of the Exonaut software, but also SMEs to support design, planning, preparation, delivery, reporting services relating to the exercise delivery.
