Exonaut Forum 2026

4C Strategies looks forward to welcoming you to the Exonaut Forum 2026 — a two-day, in-person, invite-only event in London.

This year’s forum will explore how Exonaut enables the future of military training, exercise management, and operational readiness, with a particular focus on interoperability and force generation across multinational environments.  At a time when defence organisations must do more with existing resources, the Forum will address a critical question:

How do we turn today’s forces into credible, interoperable combat power — faster?

Last year we were proud to welcome Lt Gen Sir Ian Cave KCB,  UK Military Representative to NATO and to the European Union.  This year we are planning on a strong line up of speakers who will give insights into multinational interoperability, the threats we face and the solutions being adopted to address them.

Why Attend

Join us for a unique opportunity to:

  • Meet key 4C staff including account teams, project managers, and solution architects
  • Hear keynote presentations from military users and senior leaders
  • Participate in interactive software demonstrations and solution deep-dives
  • Contribute to plenary discussions and hands-on group activities
  • Share insights, build relationships, and explore new approaches to training transformation
  • Enjoy our London River Cruise and BBQ on the Thames

This year’s Exonaut Forum will take place on 9-10 June 2026 at:

Royal United Services Institute (RUSI)
61 Whitehall,
London
SW1A 2ET

Those attending can expect a dynamic programme of keynotes, operational use cases, solution briefings, and collaborative discussions — designed to inform, challenge, and inspire.  This event brings together leaders from across the global defence community to explore how training, technology, and data can drive readiness, resilience, and interoperability at scale.

2026 Theme:
DELIVERING INTEROPERABILITY THROUGH TRAINING

Modern military effectiveness depends not just on force size, but on coherence.  Europe already possesses significant military capability — but fragmentation in training, standards, and readiness assessment limits the ability to generate credible, integrated combat mass. The Exonaut Forum 2026 will explore how to address this challenge by aligning training, standardising readiness measurement, and enabling continuous validation of interoperability across nations.

Key discussions will include:

  • Force Generation & Readiness
Building credible combat power through measurable, evidence-based readiness
  • Creating Coherent Mass in Europe
Transforming existing forces into interoperable coalition capability through common standards and shared understanding
  • From Individual to Multinational Training
Connecting individual, unit, and collective training into a unified readiness model
  • AI & Data-Driven Training
Enhancing planning, exercise generation, and after-action reporting through AI-supported tools
  • Digitised & Standardised Training
Enabling accessible, scalable, and interoperable training across organisations
  • What will training look like in 5-10 years?

From Training to Combat Readiness

A central focus of the forum is how organisations can move:
From training activity → to measurable readiness → to deployable capability

Exonaut enables forces to:

  • Train against common objectives and shared standards
  • Capture objective evidence of performance and readiness
  • Understand capability gaps and operational risk
  • Validate interoperability across multinational formations

This creates a shared, trusted picture of readiness — enabling commanders to act with confidence and partners to operate together effectively.

Networking & Engagement Opportunities

Leaders from military, government, and industry organisations worldwide will come together to:

  • Share experiences and lessons learned
  • Discuss emerging challenges and requirements
  • Build partnerships across the defence community
