4C grows team to increase focus on Continental Europe

4C Strategies warmly welcomes Stefan Liebig as Head of Sales for Continental Europe. Stefan brings a wealth of experience from international organizations, the UN and EU.

Stefan Liebig is one of the latest employees to join 4C Strategies’ growing team, as Head of Sales for Continental Europe. Stefan brings a wealth of experience from international organizations both from working for the UN and with the EU.

During his time with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (OCHA), Stefan has focussed on building strategic partnerships and securing funding for some of the largest humanitarian crises.

“I am really excited to get started and show people how much 4C has to offer. We have a fantastic team of experts within risk, crisis, emergency and business continuity management. Having worked on many crises, disasters and conflicts throughout my career, it felt natural to join 4C’s mission to build safer societies by combining the power of digital innovation with industry expertise.”

As well as his experience from the public sector, Stefan has also run a Stockholm-based start-up aimed at securing funding to reduce global poverty. He also worked for a German consultancy which has heavily involved in EU tender bids and projects, including political and security risk assessments at EU Election Observation Missions.

“The risk landscape has changed, particularly with the onset of the pandemic. More and more public and private organisations are looking to analyse and increase their capabilities in order to be more resilient. At the same time, digitalisation is growing exponentially as lockdown, restrictions and the ‘new normal’ force organisations to rethink their ways of working. 4C Strategies is perfectly positioned to help organisations become more resilient through the adoption of digital solutions. A lot of my focus will be on promoting our Exonaut readiness software, which was recently listed in Gartner’s newly published 2020 Market Guide for Crisis/Emergency Management (C/E M) Solutions (link to article).”

Stefan will be responsible for managing key accounts and growing the company’s footprint in the public and private sectors throughout continental Europe.

Speaking about the appointment, 4C International’s Managing Director Jonas Jonsson says “Stefan is an important addition to our team as we continue to expand. We are seeing increased interest in our services and solutions as risk, business continuity and organisational readiness become critical and constant action points for senior management. His experience working with the UN and EU will be instrumental moving forward.”
