Electrolux uses CIM for crisis communication
To ensure that important urgent information is communicated to the right people at the right time in the event of a crisis, Electrolux is now using CIM - Crisis and Issues Manager.
The system is to be used when a major incident occurs and the Crisis
Management Team needs to communicate quickly with small or large groups affected by the crisis. Anders Edholm, VP Media Relations and Issues Management, sees the tool as a way to rapidly spread relevant information to the right people in the Electrolux organization.
CIM – A web based modular crisis management software, gives the client the opportunity to build a versatile system based on their own needs. The application supports different areas within crisis and incident management such as; emergency notification, internal and external communication, media handling, resource management and situation awareness.
