History

C Strategies was founded in conjunction with a project designed to improve the general efficiency of the Swedish Armed Forces' exercise capabilities. This led to the development of our exercise management system, Exonaut. Since then, 4C Strategies has grown into a full-service provider of risk and crisis management solutions.

Milestones:

The Company was founded and an office for software development was established in Lund. During the first two years, the focus was primarily on our exercise management system, Exonaut, and its deployment to support a number of exercises in Sweden.

We established our office in Stockholm and started to introduce consulting services within the exercise sphere.

We became the first independent consulting firm to hold multiple crisis management exercises for the most important financial institutions in Sweden. We introduced new risk and continuity management services and, for the first time, we published results from applied research in the area of risk management.

We began to work actively with international clients in a large number of markets. We also signed several strategic framework agreements with central agencies in Sweden, thus further strengthening our market position.

The Company moved to larger premises in Stockholm. We worked increasingly with clients from the private sector, and signed additional framework agreements with central and local government agencies in Sweden. 2005 also saw us deliver several large distributed crisis management exercises, with Exonaut often serving as the hub. The world's most advanced computer-assisted exercise, VIKING 05, was one such event.

The Company continued to grow rapidly throughout 2006. We delivered our systems to a number of national defence forces, civil agencies and UN organisations. Demand for our services within risk and continuity management continued to grow in Sweden as well as abroad.

4C Strategies planned and implemented two of Sweden's largest crisis management exercises to date. Once again, we had to move to larger premises as the number of consultants on staff grew to over 25. We signed several comprehensive framework agreements with multinational corporations and government agencies.

Another very successful year - growing to 35 in staff and being awarded the Gazelle title as one of Sweden's fastest growing companies. To meet the demand for our services in the oil and gas industry, a subsidiary opened its doors in Stavanger, Norway.

Our position as a leading provider of exercise management software was manifested through the decision to implement Exonaut by the UK Ministry of Defense. In spite of the financial crisis we managed to grew with another 30% this year. Several framework agreements were signed and services were delivered to several new clients in Europe as well as in the Middle East.
